G. D. Birla Memorial School for Boys has been founded by Mr. B.K. Birla and Dr. (Mrs.) Sarala Birla to immortalise the ideals of Late G. D. Birla, a doyen of Indian industry. Founded on July 8, 1987 G.D. Birla Memorial School for Boys was formally inaugurated on August 15, 1987.
