Session

The academic year at G.D. Birla Memorial School for Boys consists of 2 terms:

First Term : March to July

Mid-term Break : Four weeks in August

Second Term : September to December

Winter Vacation : Begins after the third week of December.

Students of classes X and XII return in January for a Winter Study Camp. New academic year for other students begins in the first week of March.

Curriculum

Subjects taught in the curriculum:

Primary & Middle (IV to VIII) :

First language : English

Second language : Hindi

Third language : Foreign Language / Sanskrit, Mathematics, Social Science, (History & Geography), Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology), Value Added Education, Information Technology and General Knowledge.

Secondary (IX & X):

First language : English

Second language : Hindi / Sanskrit, Mathematics, Social Science (History, Democratic Politics, Geography and Economics), Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology), and Information Technology.

Senior Secondary (XI & XII) :

Senior Secondary students are required to study English as a compulsory language and any 5 (five) elective subjects from the following :
